1. Nature of the Service

The grimod.ai website provides access to an AI-generated analysis service named GRIMOD.AI. All outputs generated by GRIMOD.AI are probabilistic, non-deterministic, and may contain errors. No AI output should be interpreted as factual, professional, or definitive advice.

The optional “Analyze Here” feature requests your device’s location with your explicit consent to suggest nearby places. This feature is provided as-is without guarantee of accuracy. Refusing consent does not limit access to the core manual analysis feature.

2. No Professional Advice

Analyses generated by the GRIMOD.AI system do not constitute culinary, legal, health, financial, or safety advice. Users must verify all information independently. The grimod.ai platform and the GRIMOD.AI system disclaim all liability regarding decisions made based on AI output.

3. Access and Account Security

Users agree not to share accounts, not to impersonate anyone, and not to bypass free-trial limitations. GRIMOD.AI may suspend accounts in cases of fraud, abuse, reverse-engineering, scraping, automated access, or abnormal behavior.

Circumventing the three free analyses (e.g., by deleting local data, using automated scripts, or creating multiple temporary identities) is considered abuse and may result in access restrictions.

4. AI Output Behavior

The GRIMOD.AI system may refuse requests, produce variable results, or generate incomplete analyses. The grimod.ai platform provides no guarantee regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the output generated by GRIMOD.AI for a specific purpose.

5. Prohibited Uses

• scraping or reproducing GRIMOD.AI content,
• reusing GRIMOD.AI output for commercial purposes without permission,
• training third-party AI models with GRIMOD.AI content,
• using the service for defamatory, harmful, or manipulative purposes.

GRIMOD.AI reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the grimod.ai platform and its operators are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data, loss of revenue, reputational harm, or consequences linked to inaccuracies in the output from the GRIMOD.AI system.

Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service on the grimod.ai platform during the last 12 months.

7. Service Availability

Service may be interrupted due to maintenance, updates, outages, or force majeure. No guarantee of uninterrupted service is provided.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Estonian law and applicable EU regulations.

Free Trial · Guest Analysis

Each visitor is entitled to three (3) free analyses without creating an account.
These analyses are tied to the device and browser used. They may not be circumvented through technical manipulation, deletion of local data, or the creation of multiple identities.

Once these three analyses have been used, continued access requires account creation and a paid plan. Creating an account does not grant any additional free analyses.

Account Invitation Modal

Once the three free analyses have been used, any further attempt displays a window inviting the user to create an account and subscribe to a plan.
This window appears only after the free quota has been exhausted.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) and renew automatically unless cancelled by the user.

Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. However, by proceeding with payment and immediately accessing the GRIMOD.AI service, you expressly request immediate performance of the digital service and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. Travel Pass purchases are non-refundable once analyses have been used. Monthly and Annual subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

Refund requests will be handled in accordance with applicable law. Users may contact support for assistance.

Pricing

Subscription prices are displayed on the website and may be updated with prior notice where required by law.

Currency

Payments are processed in the currency displayed at checkout.

Data Collected

• email,
• authentication identifiers (Google/Apple),
• login metadata,
• usage logs and errors,
• subscription status,
• device and browser information,
• IP address (for fraud prevention).

We do not collect sensitive personal data.
The optional “Analyze Here” feature may access device location only with explicit user consent in order to suggest nearby places. This location information is processed in real time and is not stored by GRIMOD.AI.

Payment Information

Payments are processed entirely by Stripe.
GRIMOD.AI does not collect or store any credit card information.

Third-Party Services

The grimod.ai platform uses third-party services to operate and provide access to the GRIMOD.AI analysis system:

- Google Firebase (authentication, hosting, analytics),
- Stripe (payments),
- Google Places API for the optional Analyze Here feature.

The Analyze Here feature requires explicit consent and is used solely to propose nearby restaurant candidates. Declining this permission does not restrict access to manual analysis. No location data is stored or reused for advertising or profiling.

Purpose

• operate authentication,
• manage subscriptions,
• enforce free-trial limitations of three analyses per device,
• improve user experience,
• ensure security and legal compliance.

Retention

Data is retained as long as the account is active, plus any legally required period.

User Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Users may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of their personal data.
As the grimod.ai platform does not store geolocation data from features like Analyze Here, no such data is available for access or deletion.
